Ladies Tea Party
Christ Covenant Ladies Tea Party
The Women Ministry at Christ Covenant Church host 4-5 special events per year that allow us to have an extended time of fellowship and fun. This year we revived the tradition of Tea Time! In the past, it was referred to as a Mother-Daughter Tea but this year we wanted to include as many women as possible so we hosted a Ladies Tea. Long time members of the church enjoyed the event by reminiscing on how time has passed and their little girls are now young women sitting at their table while some of the ladies enjoyed having their first opportunity to decorate tables with their superb Pinterest-worthy skills. We began with a quick game at each table to start off the fun, followed by a Mother’s Day video of our Covenant Kids wishing their moms a Happy Mother’s Day, and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. Following lunch we had a Mom and Me ‘Not My Arms’ Makeover which provided us with lots of laughs and maybe a little sympathy for the moms. We enjoyed scrumptious desserts made by one of the ladies and an encouraging message from our Vice Chairwomen of Women’s ministries and two of her beautiful daughters. Many women enjoyed making lovely memories in our photo booth area designed and orchestrated by another one of our talented ladies. It was a wonderful day of fellowship, fun and honoring God with the many talents of the women of Christ Covenant. We had a BLAST!!!

Baptism Sunday

Baptism Sunday on April 29th was a wonderful day at Christ Covenant Church! We celebrated God’s grace through Christ by witnessing five baptisms.
Atticus Alexander Hache was baptized as a covenant child. Atticus’ parents, Alex and Andrea, dedicated Atticus to the Lord and promise to raise him up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Sophia Padilla kneeled as a follower of Christ promising to live her life glorying God in humble reliance of the Holy Spirit.

Natalie Poucet shared a powerful testimony of God’s hand on her life bringing her to this point of commitment.

Andrea Diaz confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior and promised to follow Jesus as a disciple of Christ.

Luis Niebla shared how God used a ministry to truck drivers and a retired Chaplain to bring him to Christ.

The celebration of God’s grace through Christ continued as the church family enjoyed lunch together. What great day at Christ Covenant!

Pajama Day Kid’s Service

Covenant Kids and CovKids at Christ Covenant Church spend their morning in fun and fellowship while learning God’s Word!
They are able to learn in a church format through impactful lessons, worship, prayer, and hands on activities. Sometimes we change things up by adding some extra fun to their special time here, while never losing focus on teaching them about Jesus!
On April 15th , we had a Pajama Day Kids Service. Our kids came to worship in their comfortable PJ’s, learned an amazing Bible lesson and afterwards enjoyed a yummy Cheerios cereal breakfast.

He is Risen Indeed!
Resurrection Sunday was a celebration of how the sacrifice of One Man-Jesus Christ gathered God’s children for the glory of God. Praise God for the opportunities he gives to show mercy, reflect, and celebrate God’s grace through Christ.

“God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2Cor.5.21)
